Yan Cogné is extending his range by launching the St Christophe cuvée (IGP Val de Loire): a red and a white, each blended from several grape varieties grown in the finest terroirs. The red – a blend of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon – is rounded and fruity.

At Domaine Saint-Nicolas, the 2011 vintage marks Fiefs Vendéens Brem’s switch to AOP from VDQS status. The new letters are shown on the labels of the cuvées Les Clous (white) and Reflets (red and rosé). All of the estate’s 40 hectares of vines are in the appellation.
