30th grower joins Patrimoine des Terroirs group
Patrimoine des Terroirs, a group of independent growers, has a new recruit: Domaine Charbonnier in Châteauvieux (Department of Loir-et-Cher), which farms 20.5ha of vines in the Touraine and Rosé de Loire AOCs. This new arrival is the 30th vigneron in the group, which has members from all France’s regions of production. It enjoyed tremendous success in the latter half of 2011: sales swelled 2.5 times to reach €400,000. The group has also set up a more efficient collection logistics hub, located near Beaune in Burgundy.
