First-time exhibitor
This year, Nicolas Millet is exhibiting at the Loire Valley Wine Trade Fair for the first time. It’s an essential rite of passage for the young grower, who took over the family estate a year ago. He will present his two creations. Confession, a white Sancerre made from grapes grown in limestone soils, and aged on the lees. The result? A complex, rich and extremely moreish wine. Tentation (“Temptation”), the red, is vinified from the fruit of old Pinot Noir vines. A year’s ageing in oak barrels has imparted elegance and roundness of body. Both wines are aimed at the wine-store, Horeca and export markets.
