It’s a first: fair takes wraps off wine bars

How do you define a wine bar? How do they develop? What sort of wines are drunk there? What’s the profile of their customers? For the first time, French wine bars – a fairly hazy notion – are to be the subject of a market survey by Ipsos. The survey, commissioned by trade body InterLoire and including a quantitative and qualitative section, will be conducted among French wine-bar owners. It aims to better define their business, gather their feelings about their profession, generate future concepts, and establish new consumer trends. You can discover the findings at the fair.
