Masterclasses
The fair’s masterclasses, much appreciated in 2011, will run again this year on a hotly-awaited theme: the grape varieties that epitomise the Loire Valley. On the programme: Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon, Melon de Bourgogne, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir and Gamay.
The objective is to present the varieties and how they differ organoleptically, through a tutored tasting, followed by a comparison of two vintages of the same wine, to observe how it develops. These workshops (in French or English) will be held on Monday 6, Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 February.
