Wine Blog Trophy gets underway
Created by the Loire Valley Wine Trade Fair in 2007, the Wine Blog Trophy has become the key focal point for the online community. In 2012 it turns the spotlight on wine bars – the central theme of this year’s fair – with a competition with the tagline: “My wine bar, Loire wines, and me”. The competing bloggers, who will team up with their chosen wine bar’s owner, will be shortlisted to proceed to the final, which in 2012 will take the form of a blind tasting. Being held during the fair for the first time, it will run on Monday 6 February at 11.30am, followed by the awards ceremony at 12 noon.
